Information age meets romance: LDS dating takes a new shape

Signs of the technological revolution are everywhere. Kids are ditching pens for keyboards, instantly trading messages with pals in Australia instead of using snail mail. Grandmothers are still "getting together with the gals" to trade recipes, but in a chat room instead of a living room. Technology is even effecting the dating scene. Singles are only a click away from expanding their social lives. Web sites have materialized that specifically cater to the increasing numbers of online-LDS singles. So how did these Web sites begin? How do they fare? How do they differ from each other? And how do church leaders feel about them? NewsNet investigates.
