Suspicious Activity
Feb. 14: Auxiliary services reported suspicious-looking money found in the BYU Laundry building. A worker received a dollar bill with a picture of Santa Claus glued over George Washington. The worker was also told where he could buy similar money online. The bill was tested to be authentic.
Feb. 13: Faculty in the Benson building reported a suspicious male in the secured computer server room. The individual was gone upon arrival of police.
Accident
Feb. 14: A bicyclist was seriously injured in a head-on collision with a car in the north-end entrance to the Marriott center parking lot. Paramedics responded and the bicyclist was taken to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center for treatment of chest pains and possible heart attack.
Criminal mischief
Feb. 14: Three freshmen were apprehended and issued misdemeanor citations after police observed them detonating a dry-ice bomb on the Deseret Towers field.
Feb. 10: A window of Maeser Hall was shattered after an individual from a group of males threw a water balloon at the building. One of the suspects was observed wearing a blue hoodie. No one was injured.
Computer Crime
Feb. 11: A student reported an unknown person had logged into her hotmail account in the Wilkinson Student Center. The individual had attempted to access the student's bank account and check her personal emails.
