An unidentified man visits the Vietnam Veteran's Wall Memorial. This memorial will be at North Park in Provo today through Monday.

Known as the "Healing Wall," the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Wall has helped to bring peace and closure to military veterans and their families.

That peace is spreading as a replica of the wall makes its way across the nation, stopping in Provo this week.

The Moving Wall display opens today and will remain in Provo until Monday before it moves on.

The opening ceremony this morning will feature Congressional Medal of Honor recipient and author George E. Wahlen.

Wahlen will be available to sign copies of his book, "The Quiet Hero," covering his experiences in Iwo Jema.

At six feet high and more than 250 feet long, the Moving Wall is half the size of the original wall in Washington D.C.

The wall - made from 72 aluminum panels - will be assembled and taken apart by volunteers.

Admission is free, and the wall will be open to the public 24 hours a day at North Park, 500 North and 500 West in Provo.

For those searching for a particular name, computers are available to print a certificate for any name listed on the wall.

Former Sen. Jake Garn will speak at the closing ceremony, which will take place at 10 a.m. Monday.
