BYU-TV and MirrorLake Films are producing a show featuring the inspirational stories of LDS youth.
They are looking for active LDS young adults, ages 15 to 30, wanting to share motivating experiences on camera, according to a news release.
"We want relevant and authentic stories about young men and women who through their faith are overcoming challenges and developing life skills that allow them to tackle hard questions, set goals they accomplish and have a positive influence in their community and the church," said a news release.
Young people are lacking real life stories on BYU-TV, said Coby Broyles, a producer. The show celebrates the culture Latter-day Saints live in and illustrate how youth are living up to their potential, Broyles said.
Stories can include youth dealing with such issues as dating, overcoming adversity, active service opportunities or standing firm in faith through some of life's greatest trials, according to the news release. Life changing decisions such as conversion to the church or overcoming addictions may also be shared.
Stories may be submitted to mirrorlakefilms@gmail.com. The show will be in production until next spring so there is no immediate deadline for applications.
