After a split against UNLV on Thursday and a double win against San Diego on Friday, BYU softball holds a season record of 29-14.
The Cougars now lead the Mountain West Conference with a record of 6-2.
BYU softball will take on Utah Valley State for the second time this season today at 3 p.m. in Orem. The last time the teams faced off, BYU came out on top with a 7-0 shutout.
The Cougars will then have a streak of nine home games, including two doubleheaders. On Friday and Saturday, BYU plays in-state rival University of Utah. The game against the Utes will be the softball team's contribution to the Deseret Duel Rivalry that BYU is currently winning.
